The Senators don’t really hold any hopes of qualifying for the upcoming Stanley Cup playoffs, currently sitting 22 points beneath the Wild Card duo in the Eastern Conference. The team can, however, play spoiler to sides still in the mix to make the postseason. Toronto is one of those teams, presently occupying the 3rd place of the Atlantic Division, but only two points ahead of the 4th-placed Florida Panthers, who still have a game in hand. And while the Maple Leafs have found little luck on their last few trips to Ottawa, losing on eight of the last 10 occasions, expect the team to bounce back this time around. Frederik Andersen is back in the crease for Toronto, while the inconsistency of the Sens is definitely a concern for the home side. The Senators have failed to win consecutive outings since the third week of November. That is a LONG time!. Read more at winnersandwhinners.com

Pick : Toronto in Regulation -110
I’ve gone back and forth on this game, and it’s not as cut and dry as the line would suggest as Ottawa tends to get up for these rivalry games. However, Toronto is still the better team and despite not getting the win last time out, you can almost see a bit more comfort with the lineup knowing that there’s a reliable goaltender in the crease on any given night with the acquisition of Jack Campbell. Toronto is far from safe in a playoff position right now, and I think the LEafs need to take advantage of winnable spots like these whenever they come up, so I’ll take Toronto and to get the price down, I’ll side with the Leafs in regulation.. Toronto Maple Leafs -189
Ottawa has not really shown up good defensively on the year so far. However, what else does not help the Senators out is the fact that their offense has not turned into the high scoring team that was expected. The Maple Leafs have a good offense that will take advantage of the Senators weak defense in this game. Final Score Prediction, Toronto Maple Leafs win 4-2.. Read more at picksandparlays.com

Toronto Maple Leaf
Take the Toronto Maple Leafs in this game as they look to stay hot and roll past the Ottawa Senators. The Leafs have Mitch Marner at the helm of their high powered offense that ranks near the top in the NHL in goals scored per game. The additional skaters such as Auston Matthews will continue supporting Marner in the neutral zone and allow him to use his speed and passing ability to stretch the opposing defense. The Senators have struggled to win games this year with inconsistent play on both ends of the ice. However, the Senators are one of the better home teams in the NHL. Do not let this fool you, as their play has still been shaky. Ottawa loves to score a lot of goals and then concede just as many and make games unnecessarily close. The Toronto Maple Leafs will win tonight.. Read more at statsalt.com
