Understanding NFL Betting Terms

One thing that can be confusing for betters no matter your experience, are the NFL betting terms. Here are some of the most common terms you'll encounter while betting on the NFL; so you can be even more informed and ready to win money every week!
Something you're guaranteed to hear almost anytime you bet on the NFL, is how you'll be betting "the spread". The spread is the amount of points that a team needs to win by for the bet to win. An example of this is if the Chicago Bears were given a -5.5-point spread, then if you bet on the Bears they would have to win by at least 6 points for the bet to succeed.
Another major way that NFL bets are made, are on the moneyline. The moneyline is the amount of money you'll either have to successfully bet to make 100 dollars, or how much more money you'll be given if you bet 100 dollars and win. For example, if the New England Patriots were favored and given a moneyline of -500, you would have to bet 500 dollars, to win 100 dollars. Another example would be if the Arizona Cardinals were not favored to win, they could be given a moneyline of +300, which means if you bet 100 dollars on the Cardinals you would win 300 dollars.
A very popular bet, is totals betting, where you bet on whether the two teams will have a combined point total over or under a certain number. If the Minnesota Vikings vs. Miami Dolphins had a totals number of 42.5, then you could choose either to bet over or under that number; and if your bet is correct you win! This is especially fun for high-scoring teams where you can bet how crazy the point total will get.
Accumulators are when you bet on lots of different games, and if all the bets are successful you win a large amount of money for a small bet. These are great if you're looking to be involved in watching a lot of games and want to have a stake throughout the day. Accumulators are also great because you can bet a much smaller amount of money to make a lot of money compared to other bets.
Anytime Touchdown Accumulators:
A very popular type of accumulator bet is the anytime touchdown accumulator. You pick a certain player in a variety of games to score a touchdown, and if all your picks score, you win! Touchdown accumulators are fantastic bets to make if you love watching scoring, if you have certain players you enjoy watching score, or if you're looking for an awesome new way to bet.
We hope this advice helps you have more fun betting, and helps you win lots of bets and money every week! Remember the best NFL betting predictions and info you'll ever need is all at: http://usvaluebetting.com/predictions/nfl
